2. Is It Better to Lease or Own My Solar System?

People regularly ask about the differences between leasing, financing, and purchasing solar panels outright, and how each affects long-term savings and home value. Which payment option makes sense for you will depend on your financial priorities.

3. How Will Solar Affect My Electric Bill?

Homeowners want to know how much money solar panels can actually save them. They’re especially curious about whether going solar can eliminate their utility bill and what kinds of savings to expect each month. Our answer: It’s important to note that installing solar won’t completely eliminate your utility bill. You’re still connected to the grid and will still pay a small supply surcharge to your utility provider. But having solar will substantially reduce or eliminate your usage charges.
